The Shimmering on Hiatus

We thank all the artists that have participated in The Shimmering by generously offering their skills and time. The progress we have made to date has been quite rewarding. Grasshorse has discovered we need more manpower, facilities and energy to see it completed and projected on the silver screen. For that reason, The Shimmering is being put on hold temporarily.

Grasshorse Technologies is currently undergoing such a restructure, expanding operations. Our facility has relocated to Winfield, Iowa where we are working with the State Legislature and Iowa Film Office to establish an animation facility that will offer a full slate of 2D animation, 3D animation and proprietary stop-motion services to the motion picture and television animation industries. We are excited by the prospects of the newly formed Iowa Film Tax Incentives which could make this endeavor competitive on a world-wide basis.

Seeing the completion of The Shimmering is still our goal and passion. As with any ambitious project, there will be hurdles that need to be overcome - and our restructuring is one of them. In time we still look forward to accomplishing its production.

Through the production of The Shimmering we have been inspired by our artists' level of commitment, talent and dedication. To all who contributed, please stay in touch. We look forward to working with you in the future and realizing our collective dreams.
