Since the Iowa Lottery's start in 1985, its profits have helped make Iowa a better place to live, work and raise a family. The Lottery provides entertainment and prizes to its players while at the same time raising billions of dollars for the state programs that benefit all Iowans. The “Blazing Hot 7s” Game Book” spot celebrates the release of the new game book as a response to the overwhelming success of the 2013 Iowa “Game Book” which received recognition from the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL). Grasshorse made summer come alive in this paper pop-up world of slot machines and casinos, red carpet gliteratti, and a backyard grill and flamin' hot brands in an open fire. 

Receiving an Award of Excellence for Commercials Over $15,000 at the 23rd Iowa Motion Picture Association Awards, Grasshorse Studios utilized 3D animation particle effects and depth of field effects with Autodesk Maya and Smoke software to pull this thrilling pop-up palooza together.
